Dr Patrick Sookhdeo’s sermon on Sunday 8th May at the Tron Church in Glasgow was actually about ‘Surrender, Sacrifice and Service’ (Convicted sex offender gives sermon about sins of desire, The Times May 10). Mention of the god Pan was in the context of distinguishing Jesus from alternative Roman, Greek and Jewish social philosophies. Marc Horne did not give a balanced account of the sermon or of Patrick Sookdheo's consequential Christian life.
