Your still small voice speaks peace to me
Your still small voice speaks peace to me,
And calm consoles my Faith and fear,
Amid the stir of life on earth,
You help me trust that you are there,
And love me still.
You reach out to our wasteland world,
Of self made pride and broken word,
On broadcast waves silence is rare,
Truth compromised doubt given air,
Love disappeared.
Your gentle touch restores my heart,
And mind and will and cells and breath,
Your risen wings heal me within,
My ache of soul can disappear,
I will be well.
Your faithfulness and tender care,
Throughout the years will go with me,
To highest heav’n and I will see,
You waiting there to welcome me,
My Lord and God.
